AISYAH ZAIN

From the moment I first held a camera as a curious little girl, I saw the world not just as it was—but as it could be framed, lit, and told. While other kids collected toys, I collected moments—on film, in memory, in motion. Now, as a photographer and videographer chasing the dream of becoming a filmmaker, my life is stitched together with stories, light, and the quiet magic of turning everyday scenes into lasting visuals.

My Story

I’m 23 years old, but my love for cameras started long before I really understood what “photography” or “videography” even meant. As a little girl, I was the one always asking for the camera—taking pictures of my family, filming random scenes in the backyard, or trying to direct my own version of a movie using whatever was around me. It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t planned. But it sparked something real.

Back then, I didn’t know I was developing an eye for detail or a deep appreciation for storytelling—I just knew it made me feel alive. I never saw the world the same way others did. A moment of light hitting the wall, the look in someone’s eyes when they weren’t watching, the small quiet parts of life most people overlooked—I wanted to capture all of it.

As I got older, this passion didn’t fade—it grew louder. I started learning everything I could. I took photos for fun, practiced editing videos late at night, and watched films not just for entertainment, but to study how they were made. I wasn’t from a background that offered many opportunities in the creative industry—and to be honest, I wasn’t financially able to invest in expensive gear or courses. But I made the most of what I had. My gear wasn’t the best, but I knew it wasn’t about that. It was about the vision, the emotion, and the connection.

This is me starting from the very bottom—climbing a ladder I’ve dreamed about for years. Every step is a challenge, but it’s one I’m ready to face head-on. I will do whatever it takes, learn whatever I must, and push through every doubt and obstacle to get to where I want to be. Because this passion isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am.

I started saying “yes” to small projects. Events, Portraits, Travel shoots—anything that let me grow. Every time I held the camera, I felt more certain that this was what I was meant to do. Photography and videography became more than just a hobby—they became a part of me. They taught me patience, empathy, and how to see the world through a different lens.

Now, I’m working hard to build a career doing what I love. I’m proud to be a photographer and videographer, and my dream is to one day become one of the best Filmmaker in the world—to tell bigger stories that move people, that matter, that stay with you long after the screen goes black.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still creating. But I believe passion, consistency, and heart can take you far—even if you’re starting small.

This is just the beginning of my journey. And I’m excited to see where it leads.
